Verbatim launches hard disks with four interfaces
US based hardware manufacturer Verbatim has announced the launch of two external, quad-interface desktop hard-disk drives.
These new hard drives are available in 500 GB and 1 TB capacities.
They support four kinds of connectivity with the computer: USB 2.0, FireWire 400, FireWire 800, and eSATA II.
The company said that these new hard drives are designed for digital content professionals, consumers, and small businesses.
Charles Klinker, director of marketing for Verbatim added: “Our new 500-GB and 1-TB Desktop HDDs offer many advantages for editing and storing high-density applications, compared to using two or three smaller HDDs.”
These hard disks are compatible with Windows 2000, XP, or Vista, and Mac OS X 10.1 or higher.
Prices:
500GB model: USD 180
1TB model: USD 250
