Adobe to port Flash to Intel CE3100 media processor
Intel and Adobe are working together to bring Adobe Flash technology to television sets.
They are porting the Flash technology to Intel’s CE3100 media processor which is designed for use on set top boxes, digital TVs and other devices.
Intel said that it is now aiming to deliver the first CE3100 supporting Adobe Flash Lite before the middle of the year.
The two companies are hoping to create an environment where flash applications would work on television sets too.
With Internet connectivity, flash applications can be used to showcased web based data in intuitive form.
