HP Mini 2140 netbook offers 8 hours of battery backup
US based personal computer maker HP has launched a new netbook model Mini 2140.
HP claims that this new model HP Mini 2140 can give users a battery backup of eight hours.
They are using a premium six-cell “all day” battery in this netbook which is powered with an Intel Atom processor.
They are displaying this new notebook model at the ongoing CES trade show in Las Vegas.
The company added that on a conventional three-cell battery, the 2140 should be able to run up to four hours on a single charge.
HP needs some bling in their product range to take on Acer and Asus which currently dominates this segment of the market.
