Apple iTunes to offer more DRM free music at variable prices

Apple has announced plans to offer all music DRM free on their Apple iTunes digital media store.

The company has also now introduced variable pricing on the media available on the store.

Apple said that the music files are now available in three price points: 69 cents, 99 cents and $1.29.

The prices would depend upon the provider of the music files.

The company added that they are working with all the major music companies to provide DRM free music on iTunes.

Is iTunes going to be competitive with Amazon? One can buy albums and sets of CD’s in mp3 at Amazon for way less than the posted prices at iTunes. Pop over to Amazon and take a look.
