iSimple WiFli designed to put iPod controls on a car steering wheel
iSimple has announced their latest product named WiFli. This new product WiFli is a kit which is designed to put the controls of Apple iPod media player on a steering wheel in the car.
The aim is to help the drive maintain his concentration on the roads while listening to music.
The kit comes with a wireless remote control with a steering wheel cradle in addition to a connector for the iPod.
The kit is compatible with Apple iPods and iPhones.
The company said that the connector transmits a digital FM radio signal to RDS-equipped car stereos.
It also sends the data associated with iPod/iPhone track data so that the car system can display title and artist information on its own screen.
