Asus S121 netbook with Windows 7 and 512GB SSD!
Asus has showcased their latest netbook model S121 which was displayed running a version of Windows 7. It also includes a 512GB solid state drive.
Asus S121 is just under an inch in thickness which makes it very portable.
The device features a touchscreen interface and the company has loaded it with a specialized software for each touch based navigation.
The company is planning to start selling this netbook in the coming months. Though it is unlikely to come loaded with Windows 7 at launch considering Microsoft has not yet launched the Vista successor.
The model with a 512GB SSD would cost a lot at around $1,649. Asus said that they are using their own technology in this solid state drive.
The model to go on sale with come loaded with a 1.33-GHz Intel Atom.
