Latest Sharp AQUOS BD LCD TV comes with Blu-Ray player inbuilt
Japanese consumer electronics manufacturer Sharp has launched their latest range of LCD TVs which features an inbuilt Blu-Ray player.
Blu-Ray technology has won the current generation storage media war against HD DVD but it still has not gained enough popularity.
Customers are more likely to watch online streaming media than buying the expensive Blu-Ray players and their media.
DVD also continues to remain a very popular hardware based media storage format.
Sharp said that this new range of Sharp AQUOS BD television sets would go on sale next month.
They are going to be available in 16 different models ranging from 26 to 52 inches diagonally.
