Networking hardware manufacturer Netgear has announced their latest product named Internet TV Player.

Netgear Internet TV Player is a set top box attachment for television sets. It is designed to play streaming media content from the web.

It support video sharing services like YouTube, Google Video and MetaCafe.

The more interesting aspect of this device is the inbuilt bittorrent client.

This means that owners can use this device to download media from the net and play it on their television sets directly!

The company spoke about the usability of this device: “It is ideal for those who are geographically displaced from their preferred television content, such as international sporting events and Bollywood productions.”
