Networking hardware manufacturer Netgear has launched a new digital media player named Digital Entertainer Elite.

This new player comes loaded with a 500 GB hard disk and it also supports HD video playback.

The company said that this player would enable the users to watch videos, images and listen to music on their TV and stereo.

The device is also internet enabled and the users can also watch online videos from YouTube and other services.

Other services are also supported like web radio, Flickr and RSS feeds.

The device supports playback with a resolution of up to 1080p. It supports file formats like Windows Media Video 9, H-264 or MPEG-4.

When it comes to wireless internet, it supports the high speed 802.11n.
