SanDisk launches world’s fastest multi-level cell, solid-state hard drives
SanDisk has showcased their latest range of solid state drives at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The company displayed their latest G3 series SSDs. These drives are designed as fully enabled replacements for laptop hard disks.
SanDisk claims that these new disks are world’s fastest multi-level cell, solid-state hard drives.
These new drives would be sold in capacities of 60GB, 120GB and 240GB. The 240GB edition would retail for around USD 500.
SanDisk claims that these new SSDs are more than five times faster than the fastest HDDs now on the market.
