Acer Aspire One at discounted price in India
Acer has announced a special deal for their Indian customers on their Acer Aspire One netbooks.
The company announced that the Linpus Linux Lite edition of this netbook is now on sale for Rs. 14,499.
The edition with Windows XP Home can be purchased for Rs. 16,499.
S. Rajendran, Chief Marketing Officer, Acer India spoke about this special pricing offer: “Acer has always believed in bringing the benefits of mobile computing closer to the common man. With this initiative, I have no doubt that we will make the dream getting onto the mobile computing bandwagon a reality for millions of our country men. We strongly believe that our strategy will help Acer emerge stronger in the PC market. We can make the dream of a PC in every home a reality and this initiate is a small step to test out the waters in that direction.”
Acer Aspire One netbook features a 8.9-inch screen and it weighs less than 1 KG. It comes powered with an Intel Atom processor with 1GB RAM. Customers can order it with up to 160GB of hard disk space.
