LG Display to provide panels to Apple

LG Display has announced that they have won a five year long contract to provide Apple with liquid-crystal-display panels.

This helped the company’s stock gain at the share market.

LG Display would receive an upfront payment of $500 million in January as part of the deal from Apple.

Apple is the manufacturer of Mac personal computers.

The company also sell LCD and LED technology display screens.
