Ford showcases Lincoln C concept
US based automaker Ford has yet another concept car on display. This new model is from their Lincoln division.
Lincoln C concept model is designed for young customers. The company calls this concept a big idea for a small luxury car.
Ford said that the model is designed to be fuel efficient and it would be a perfect vehicle for driving in congested areas where parking is hard to find.
Peter Horbury, executive director of Design, The Americas spoke about this model: “Modern luxury buyers who live and work in large, urban areas want to play their part in helping the environment by moving to a smaller vehicle, but they still want to enjoy the luxuries of life. The Lincoln C offers sensible indulgence. During the past decade, people have gotten used to the idea that you could pay more money for a smaller version of the real thing.”
The concept model has been powered with a 1.6-liter, direct-injection EcoBoost four. It produces 180 hp and 180 lb-ft of torque.
Ford said that this model will get 43 mpg on the highway. Checkout: Ford Lincoln C Concept Car Photos
