Carol Bartz expected to be named new CEO of Yahoo

Carol Bartz has been rumored to be one of the names being considered by Yahoo for their CEO position.

Reports are now stating that the deal is almost done between the two parties.

Yahoo is expected to make an official announcement soon.

Carol Bartz is currently the Chairman of Autodesk.

These reports are however disappointing for the investors in the company as they were hoping to get someone who had more experience in running an internet media company.

Market analyst Todd Greenwald spoke about the reports: “I think the market may be a little bit disappointed that Yahoo’s not going with someone who isn’t a little bit more savvy when it comes to technology and media.”
