Apple MacBook Pro 17” Battery replacement would cost $179
Apple has made available some details on how the owners of their just launched 17inch MacBook Pro can get the batteries of the laptop replaced.
This new edition of the MacBook Pro features an internal battery which cannot be replaced easily.
The company requires the customer to contact them for the battery replacement process.
In the US, the battery replacement would cost $179 excluding taxes. The price is CA$ 219 (excluding taxes) in Canada and £139 including VAT in the UK.
Apple states that the fastest way to replace the battery in this device is to make an appointment at an Apple Store. This way the battery could be replaced on the same day of the appointment.
