Chandrayaan-1 has been a massive success for ISRO
ISRO has said that Chandrayaan-1 has been a massive success for India as it has been performing flawlessly since the launch.
Chandrayaan-1 has beamed back more than 40,000 images since its launch in October last year.
These images are beamed to Indian Deep Space Network at Byalalu near Bangalore.
ISRO is now aiming to launch Chandrayaan-2 in 2012.
The long term plan is to launch a manned mission to moon by 2020.
