Yahoo CEO Carol Bartz pay package estimated to be around USD 19 million
Market sources claim that Yahoo’s new CEO has a pay package of around USD 19 million for the first year.
This would be offered in both cash and stock.
The deal also comes with an incentive package if she can turn around the company’s fortune.
Her base salary is said to be around $1 million. She can get a cash bonus up to $4 million depending upon how the company performs in the coming months.
She is also guaranteed to receive $2.5 million in cash and $7.5 million in Yahoo stock for moving from her position at Autodesk.
Bartz has some tough decisions to make in the coming days. Microsoft is likely to go for its search engine operations again.
