YouTube offering downloads on some videos

Google owned YouTube service is the most popular video sharing destination online.

However, the service does not allow the user to download videos hosted on the service.

There are several ways to download videos from YouTube but that is now changing.

YouTube has apparently enabled the download option on some of the videos being hosted on the service.

Most of these videos are political in nature such as the President-elect Barack Obama’s weekly addresses.

The good thing is that the download links are of high quality editions of the videos which are delivered to set top boxes and iPhones.
