Rafael Nadal blogs at the Australian Open

The latest celebrity to join the blogging bandwagon is the Spanish world number one tennis star Rafael Nadal.

Rafael Nadal has launched his blog at the Australian Open. He would be responding to questions from the tennis fans.

He said about the blog: “This is my first blog in Australia and I am very thankful to have been given this opportunity. I am not going to lie to you, this is not easy for me since I am not a writer.”

He wrote in his first blog post: “Hi everyone, or should I say G’day mate? I have been told that this is the way Australians say “hello,” so I wanted to also say it like this. I am back here in Melbourne and I have to say that I love being here. I have to say that I am excited.”
