Twingly launches micro-blog search
Blog search engine Twingly has announced the launch of their micro-blog search service.
This search engine indexes content posted by users of micro-blogging services like Twitter, Jaiku, Identi.ca, Pownce, Bloggy and Bleeper.
Pownce is of course discontinued now but the archives are going to be available for the next six months. They are available through this new search engine.
They are also inviting developers of other micro-blogging services to get their service indexed in this new search engine.
Features of the Twingly Microblog Search:
Like every search result at Twingly.com, it’s possible to get a widget for it to use on your own website or blog.
Email-alerts so you don’t miss any important reply, retweet or comment dedicated to you or to use like a way to monitor your brands name.
RSS to keep you updated on what microblogs saying about you, your brand, interest or anything else straight in to your RSS-reader.
It’s possible to search for hashtags (#tag) and replies (@name)
