Cisco Systems to offer servers with virtualization software!
The New York Times has reported that Cisco would soon start offering servers with virtualization technology inbuilt.
This would put them in direct competition to companies like Hewlett Packard and IBM.
The reports in the media claim that Cisco would offer servers powered with technologies from VMWare.
Cisco has not commented on these market reports for now.
Cisco is already the world’s largest network equipment maker and it would be interesting to see them entering the server market.
