Pandora services now supported with audio ads
Online radio service Pandora has announced that they are now adding audio ads to their broadcasts.
The company said that these 15-second audio advertisements would run between songs occasionally.
Pandora said that they aim to not annoy their users with these inclusions.
They have tested putting in audio ads in their broadcast in the past. The experiment turned out to be a failure as they faced a backlash from their users.
However, they would not be able to do away with ads this time around as the financial situation is complicated.
Pandora is recommending that users who do not want to listen to these audio ads can sign up for their commercial plans costing $36 per year.
