China close down 1,250 Web sites related to pornography
China continues to close down web sites which are related to online pornography and vulgarity.
The country has closed down around 1,250 Web sites in their latest attempt to control the access of adult material in the country.
Liu Zhengrong, deputy director of the Internet Affairs Bureau under the State Council Information Office said in a statement: “We’ve achieved obvious results.”
He added that they have also arrested 41 people in this latest campaign which has been very successful.
