1 Billion Internet Users Worldwide
Market research company comScore has claimed that the world now has more than 1 billion internet users.
The report released by the company claimed that global internet usage reached over 1 billion unique visitors in the month of December.
Around 41% of these users were from the Asia-Pacific region.
This research report includes internet users above the age of 15 who access the net from their homes or offices.
Europe was the second largest contributor with 28 percent of the global Internet audience.
Jamie Gavin, a comScore senior analyst said that Latin America is the next market which is expected to see tremendous growth in the coming years.
