Microsoft delays their data center construction at Iowa
Microsoft has just come out with their latest revenue report. The company has also announced a major job cut in their global operations.
The slowing down economy has forced the software giant to delay the construction of their new data center in Iowa.
The company said that they would continue construction of its new data centers in Chicago and Dublin.
These would be opened as the demand rises for their services.
A company representative said: “Thanks to the efficiencies we’ve gained through these ongoing efforts, we will be able to delay the construction and opening of some of our facilities.”
