Acer Aspire One netbook launched
Acer has finally launched the much rumored Aspire One netbook model.
This would take on the similar products from rival companies like Lenovo, Dell and Samsung.
Acer Aspire One features a 10 inch screen which is slightly larger than other netbook models available in the market.
It would go on sale for £299 in the European market.
The company said that this model would come loaded with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, 1GB memory, a 160GB hard disk drive, a SDHC slot, Bluetooth, optional 3G/WiMax and 3 USB ports.
The display is capable of 1024×600 resolution which is not an improvement over the previous generation models.
Windows XP Home is the operating system on this model. The company has not revealed whether a Linux edition would be offered.
