Microsoft is merging Office Live and Windows Live services
US based software giant is finally working on merging their online services under a common brand.
The company has said that they are going to merge their Office Live and Windows Live services under a common brand name.
Few details are available at the moment.
Microsoft said in a blog post about this development: “Microsoft has made the decision to converge Windows Live and Office Live, that includes Office Live Workspace and Office Live Small Business, into an integrated set of services delivered through one single destination.”
Market sources say that the company has plans to brand them under a unified name Kumo.
The company seems to have a couple of domain names with this brand including kumo.com, kumosearch.com, kumopics.com, kumowiki.com, kumogroups.com and kumotravel.com.
