2TB Western Digital hard drive on sale now!
Western Digital seems to have launched what we believe the world’s largest hard drives.
2TB Western Digital hard drives are being offered on some Australian online stores.
The largest size hard drives available in the market are 1.5TB.
The company has not officially confirmed these drives.
Market experts believe that these hard drives are likely to be using four 500GB platters.
Hitachi was incidentally the first player in the market to launch 1TB drives. It remains to be seen if WD has indeed launched the world’s first 2TB drives!
