Mark Papermaster to join Apple in May
Apple has announced that they have settled the issues with IBM over the appointment of former IBM executive Mark Papermaster in the company.
Apple has said that Papermaster would join the company on April 24. He would be working in the iPhone group at Apple.
IBM had filed a lawsuit against Apple when the appointment was originally announced. The lawsuit claimed that the appointment was in violation of a non compete agreement signed by Papermaster when he had joined IBM.
They further said that Papermaster would be in a position to divulge important IBM trade secrets he had gained while working in the company.
The two companies seem to have find a solution in this mess and Apple is now free to hire Papermaster.
