Google launches internet testing tools at Measurementlab.net

Search engine giant Google has announced their involvement in a project that helps the user to find out whether their ISP is interfering with their web connectivity.

The company is providing a variety of tools which can be used to diagnose your network connection.

These tools are available on a new website named Measurementlab.net.

Some tests are designed to enable the user to check what speeds are their connections.

Some other tests are designed to check whether the ISP is interfering with p2p traffic like those on the bittorrent networks.

This is a good initiative with Google showing keen interest on net neutrality.
