Blackberry now on pay as you go plan in UK
UK based mobile service provider Orange has launched a pay as you go plan for the blackberry smartphone.
The company is offering this new package on the Blackberry Pearl 8120 smartphone in the market.
Orange claims that this is the only package in the UK market that does not require the customer to get into a contract with the service provider.
Orange UK’s head of pay-as-you-go, Pippa Dunn had this to say on their new plan: “With nearly two-thirds of U.K. mobile customers now using pay-as-you-go, we are really pleased to be bringing one of the most popular e-mail and multimedia devices to the masses.”
The device costs 145 pounds and the plan is available at UKP 5 a month.
Blackberry Pearl 8120 comes loaded with a 2-megapixel camera. 3G is however missing.
