AppleInsider has reported that Apple is hinting at reduced supplies of iMacs in the near future to their reseller channel members.

This is a clear indication that the company is likely to finally launch new updated iMacs in the coming weeks/months.

Apple has not updated the iMac in a long time except for minor hardware changes.

Rumors claim that the company could go ahead and offer a quad core processor on the iMac.

Of course, the company would also likely to employ chipsets from NVIDIA which have already been put in their laptop range.
