Toshiba TG01 smartphone announced
Japanese consumer electronics manufacturer Toshiba has announced their latest smartphone model Toshiba TG01.
Toshiba TG01 is powered with Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system and it features its own 3D user interface developed by the company.
This phone is designed to take on the HTC Touch HD and iPhone 3G.
Toshiba TG01 is a 9.9mm thick and it features a 4.1-inch WVGA 800 x 480 384k pixel resistive touchscreen.
It comes loaded with support for technologies like 3G HSPA, Wi-Fi, GPS and A-GPS.
Toshiba claims that this is the first device to be powered by Qualcomm’s 1GHz Snapdragon QSD2850 chipset.
The company has also bundled a virtual trackpad that can be used to navigate complex web pages in the Internet Explorer mobile browser which features complete support for Adobe Flash technologies.
