IBM has announced that they are working on a newer faster supercomputer.
This would be faster than their current fastest supercomputer.
The new machine is expected to have the processing power of as many as 2 million typical laptops.
The company said that they are going to deliver this machine in 2011 to the Department of Energy for use at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
IBM said that they are aiming to achieve 20 petaflops per second processing power in this new machine being built.
