MySpace reveals that around 90,000 sex offenders removed from their service

US based social networking portal MySpace has revealed that they have till now removed around 90,000 sex offenders as members of their service.

North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper stated that this figure is almost double the number they had originally acknowledged last year.

They are working along with the operators of web services to make social networks a safer place for web users.

Facebook and MySpace are two of the most popular social networking services in the US market. They are used by teens and adults alike.
