T-Mobile G1 set to get a firmware update
There is some good news for the owners of Google G1 mobile device.
T-Mobile and Google are soon going to make available a new firmware update for this mobile device.
The companies said that the update would be delivered over the air and should reach all owners within the next two weeks.
No details were given on what is in store for the users of the device in this update.
A company representative just had this to say: “We will keep you posted on the software updates and features available in the maintenance release. More to come soon”.
T-Mobile did say that this update is not a major one so it’s unlikely that the users would get major feature upgrades like video recording.
Online sources say that Google might add support for voice search through this update. They are already offering this functionality through their App for the Apple iPhone.
