Google Internet Bus launched in India!
US based search engine giant Google has announced the launch of Google Internet Bus service in India.
The company said that this new service is a mobile campaign which would be run in the tier II and III towns in the country where there is little exposure to the wonders of the web.
It would provide internet experience to the people in the smaller cities and would cover 15 towns in Tamil Nadu in the coming days.
Dr Prasad Ram, Head of Google R&D, India said in a statement that the aim of the program is to educate people on how internet can make everyday life simple.
He further said: “There can be no better way than to directly interact with people. We need to engage directly to build better and relevant products for end users.”
