Tata Nano booking starts later this month!?
Market sources say that Tata would start booking for their Tata Nano model later this month.
Interested customers would be able to book a Nano for themselves for around Rs 70,000.
However, the low cost and the high expectations from this model would mean that the waiting period for delivery would be pretty long.
Sources say that Tata Motors dealers and State Bank of India would accept the bookings for this highly anticipated model.
SBI is the exclusive finance provider for the Tata Nano as per a deal signed with the company.
Tata is hoping to book around 1 lakh units in the first round. This alone should give them around Rs. 700 crores in the coming weeks.
The company is expected to start the delivery of Nano from next month. Since the main plant for Nano is still under construction, few units would be delivered in the initial months.
