Apple delays shipment of MacBook Pro 17-inch
Apple has confirmed that they are delaying the deliveries of 17-inch MacBook Pro.
The company had originally planned to start shipping these notebooks late last month.
Apple spokesman Bill Evans spoke about the delay: “Wrapping up the new 17-inch MacBook Pro is taking a few days longer than we expected, and we now expect to begin shipments in mid-February.”
Apple had launched this new generation MacBook Pro at the MacWorld Expo in January.
It comes loaded with a non-removable battery in addition to a 1,920 x 1,200 LED-backlit display.
It retails for $2,799 for the base configuration.
