YouTube growing at an impressive pace in USA
A comScore Video Metrix has revealed that YouTube continues to grow at an amazing pace in the US market.
American web users are watching more videos than ever before. YouTube itself accounts for almost half of the growth in this market.
The report said that US based web users watched a record 14.3 billion online videos in December 2008.
Google had a 41 percent market share in this segment. YouTube on its own had more than 100 million viewers in December. These visitors watched some 5.9 billion videos in December.
Hulu is also performing well in this segment of the market. It’s share in the market grew 6 percent in December compared to the previous month.
