Samsung Memoir coming to USA through T-Mobile

T-Mobile has announced a new high end mobile phone from Samsung on their network which is aimed at customers who wants to avoid carrying a digital camera along with their mobile phone.

This new device is Samsung Memoir and it comes loaded with a 8-Megapixel digital camera.

The company said that this is the most capable camera phone available in the US market till now.

Samsung Memoir is also capable of web browsing and email communications.

It also comes with support for the T-Mobile 3G network in the US market.

Samsung said that their Memoir phone comes loaded with a Xenon flash, CMOS auto-focus, and face- and smile-detection technology.

The camera can also be used to record videos. The device also has GPS capabilities which can be used to geo-tag photos. It has inbuilt support for uploading media files to Flickr, Kodak Gallery, Photobucket, and Snapfish.

Bill Ogle, chief marketing officer for Samsung Mobile added: “This is the camera phone that will make people want to leave their digital camera at home. When you combine the Memoir’s imaging capabilities, customizable menus, and music player, not only is it a great phone, but the entertainment possibilities are unlimited.”
