Microsoft to open owned stores
Apple has had a successful run with their own retail stores.
Now, Microsoft is going to copy that idea by opening their own branded retail stores.
The company has hired David Porter, a former DreamWorks executive for this new initiative.
Porter has been named Microsoft’s new vice president of retail stores.
Microsoft did not specifically say how many stores they aim to open in the coming months.
They have also not specified what kind of products these stores would offer.
But we expect them to offer their entire software line along with Xbox 360 along with accessories and games.
