Huawei to launch 2-3 Google Android phones this year
China based tech company Huawei has announced that they would launch 2-3 mobile phone models powered with Google Android mobile platform this year.
The company is also working on more models that would be introduced next year.
They are also considering plans to develop phones powered by Symbian mobile platform.
LiMo is another mobile platform being considered for new devices by Huawei.
Huawei said that they are aiming to sell 40-45 million phones in 2009.
The company usually supply phones to mobile service providers who sell the phones under their own brands.
Huawei also has plans to introduce a Long Term Evolution capability powered mobile phone sometime this year.
