Nokia and Qualcomm to work together
Nokia and Qualcomm are joining hands to collaborate on mobile phone devices.
The two companies have been involved in several lawsuits filed against each other.
Looks like, Nokia has realized that they cannot stay away from Qualcomm’s CDMA technology if they want to continue their domination in the mobile phone market.
Nokia said that they would launch mobile phones powered with Qualcomm technologies.
It said: “The first Mobile devices based on this collaboration are expected to launch in mid-2010 and be compatible with the forthcoming Symbian foundation platform.”
These phones would be launched in the North American market and would be 3G enabled.
