Asus working on Android powered netbooks
Google Android mobile platform was originally developed for smartphones.
However, things are changing and a lot of new platforms are being developed based on the Android platform.
Market sources say that Asus is already working on developing a netbook model that could be powered by the Google Android mobile operating system.
The company has not yet decided whether they would want to offer this netbook in the market considering the limited usability for the end user.
But a lot of third party applications are being developed which could enhance the usability of the Android to make it a competitive platform for netbooks.
