Steve Ballmer still wants a deal with Yahoo
Yahoo has a brand new CEO who has shown little interest in selling off company units.
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has said that he still wants to get into a deal with Yahoo over its search engine division.
He said that both Microsoft and Yahoo should join hands to take on Google in the search engine market.
Ballmer was quoted as saying: “You all know that I would like to figure out how to pool somehow Microsoft and Yahoo. I’m hoping that’s a reasonable conversation to have with new management at Yahoo.”
Both Microsoft and Yahoo are struggling to compete against Google in the search and online advertising market.
