He will leave Yahoo as soon as the company finds a suitable replacement.

This is the latest top management change at Yahoo which recently announced the appointment of their new CEO Carol Bartz.

His departure from the company was revealed in a regulatory filing Thursday.

Yahoo is said to be close to announce a major top management reshuffle as part of their aim to get the company back on track as it struggles to compete against Google and Microsoft.
