Motorola AURA luxury mobile phone now on sale in India
US based mobile phone maker Motorola has launched a new luxury mobile phone named AURA in the Indian market.
This new phone is priced at Rs 1,11,000 and it is aimed at people who want a luxury mobile phone designed specifically for them.
Faisal Siddiqui, Head of India Operations, Motorola Mobile Devices spoke about Motorola Aura: “We are delighted to offer AURA to Indian consumers with its luxurious design, artistry and sensory experience. AURA is Motorola’s latest high-tier mobile device targeted at the trend-setter Indian who has a taste for the exquisitely stylish, unrivaled quality and sensuous luxury.”
Motorola’s brand ambassador Abhishek Bachchan was at the launch ceremony where he presented the phone to fashion designer Manish Malhotra.
Motorola said that the phone features a 16 million color, circular display with 300 dpi resolution.
It is manufactured using more than 200 high-precision individual parts. The company claims that the phone’s Grade 1, 62-carat sapphire crystal lens is scratch-resistant.
The phone comes loaded with 2 GB onboard memory, Stereo Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR and AD2P, a 2 MP camera with fixed focus, USB 2.0 hi-speed for connectivity, Symphony browser.
It features support for GSM 850/900/1800/1900, EDGE Class 12 and GPRS Class 12 networks.
