AMD to get into 32-nanometer processors market next year
AMD has announced that they would launch their 32-nanometer processors sometime next year.
The volume production of these processors would start by the end of next year.
The company faces intense challenge from the market leader Intel.
Intel is planning to launch their own 32-nanometer processors sometime later this year.
Both Intel and AMD are currently on the 45-nm technology when it comes to computer processors.
AMD is soon going to close its deal with Advanced Technology Investment Co. which would take care of the manufacturing part of the processor development.
AMD would become a technology company focusing on developing new generation of processors.
