Sales of BlackBerry Bold in Japan suspended due to overheating problems
NTT DoCoMo had to suspend the sales of the recently launched Blackberry Bold smartphone in the Japanese market.
The company received several complaints of the device getting overheated.
Reports say that the phone is getting extremely hot during the recharging process.
RIM has stated that the problem being reported is limited to the units being offered in the Japanese market.
Incidentally, the phone at its original launch faced several issues due to bugs in its software. Looks like RIM would have to do some damage control here.
